The Soupery is looking for a motivated and punctual Team Leader for our location in Downtown Portsmouth, NH!

The Soupery is the sister restaurant to The Juicery - an independently owned and operated quick serve restaurant chain. The Soupery and The Juicery are driven by producing high quality and healthy alternatives to other quick serve options that consumers have in the marketplace.

We are looking for an organized and energetic Team Leader to serve up our delicious menu of locally made soups this season.

The best part? The Soupery is only open for lunch! We are open 7 days a week 11 am - 4 pm.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 1-year of experience in restaurant operations, prior restaurant leadership experience is a bonus.

Major responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Direct day-to-day operations of the store
Creating and managing store schedule
Managing product ordering and store inventory
Managing cash handling
Hiring, training, and developing staff
Create and maintain a positive work environment
Managing and enforcing food safety procedures
Provide outstanding leadership to help manage and grow your team

Prior Experience & Qualifications:
Candidates with prior experience in the following items will be considered for the position of Team Leader:

Experience with managing orders
Proven leadership skills
Experience with hiring, onboarding, and training team members
Strong communication and organizational skills
Prior food service experience (preferred, but not required!)
Full-time availability

Compensation:
The pay structure role of Team Leader at The Soupery includes:

Rate of $18/hour plus an additional hourly tip-pool average added to your biweekly paycheck. ($25-$27/hr - Tips included)
Last season's tip-pool average was an additional $7 - $10/hour. (Please note tips are not guaranteed)
